Coming from south of France, Lisa Diaz worked in cinema after litterature and History studies at la Sorbonne, Paris.
She has written and directed six short fiction films and three documentaries, selected and awarded at French and international festivals (Clermont-Ferrand, Brest, Grenoble, Premiers Plans, Uppsala, Olhares do Mediterraneo…).
Among her latest fictions, Eva wishes (2020, public award in Côté Court, Pantin), Dad is a super hero (2017), Our dumb lips (2016).
Lisa has participated in several training program and residencies such as la FEMIS, Groupe Ouest, Boostcamp or Lussas documentary residence…
His first feature film, Zone libre, produced by À Perte de Vue, got the CNC film fund in 2020 and was selected at the Ateliers d’Angers (Festival Premiers Plans). The project is in financing.
She has recently moved to the very far West of France, in Britanny.
