Coming from south of France, Lisa Diaz worked in cinema after litterature and History studies at la Sorbonne, Paris. She directed her first short film in 2007, the Absentee (first price of the Moulin d’Andé Script Award). Then she has directed two documentaries, 100 kms apart (2008) and To be continued (2011), and other short fictions : Home Trip (2012), coproduced by national channel, France 2 ; the ear of a pianist (2014) ; Our dumb lips (2016) coproduced by the CNC production fund. Her films were screened in french and international festivals and Our dumb lips received several awards (best short film,Plebeian film festival, San Diego, best cinematography Awards, Taratsa International film festival, Thessalonik and in Mulhouse tous courts…). Lisa has participated in various training programme and writing residences such as la FEMIS, Groupe Ouest, Boostcamp or Lussas documentary residence… She has released in november 2017 her fifth short fiction, Dad is a Super Hero while developing her first feature (Summer 81).
